Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain how you may use the Skin & Soul website and what the pages do and do not promise. Skin & Soul is an independent beauty salon and skincare studio as presented on this site. The pages describe beauty service topics and let you draft an appointment inquiry. They do not sell products and they do not confirm a visit.

The terms were last updated on 16 October 2026. Please read them with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. They are written in plain language. They do not remove a right that mandatory law does not allow anyone to remove.

The studio's published place of business is Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. Telephone +56 9 0318 3771. Email [email protected]. A company registration number is not published, so these terms do not invent one. Questions about the website can be sent to that email. In-person services, once you and the studio actually agree them, are also subject to the mandatory consumer rules of Chile, including Law No. 19.496 where it applies. These terms do not waive those rights.

| Purpose

Website purpose

The website exists so you can explore beauty and skincare topics, look at reference photographs, read guides, and understand how an appointment request works. The intended path is: explore services, read treatment information, then contact the studio or prepare an appointment request.

The site is not a cosmetics store. It does not list products for sale, and it does not take an order. It is not a dermatology clinic, a medical spa with a published licence, or a cosmetic surgery practice. It does not offer online diagnosis.

Photographs are references published under the Unsplash License, plus the Skin & Soul wordmark drawn for these pages. They are not a claim that the rooms, the people, or the results belong to this studio.

| Use

Use of information

You may read the pages, follow the internal links, and use the search box to find a page on this site. You may print or save a copy for your own reference. You may not copy the site and present it as another business, and you may not scrape it in a way that disrupts the host.

Information on the site is general. It is not a personal recommendation and not a quote. You are responsible for deciding whether a beauty question is one you want to ask, and for getting medical care when a concern is medical.

Do not use the forms to send unlawful content, to harass anyone, or to include another person's private information without a right to do so. Do not attempt to break the pages, the host, or the third-party files the design loads.

| Services

Beauty service descriptions

Service cards describe categories such as facial care, skincare, brow care, lash services, makeup, nail care, hair styling, and beauty consultations. They are topics you can ask about. Publication of a topic is not a warranty that the service is offered on a particular day, by a particular person, or at all.

The studio has not published a treatment menu with durations, contraindications, or prices. The absence of a price is intentional. You should not read a card as an offer that can be accepted by clicking it.

If you and the salon later agree a service away from this website, that agreement is not formed by these terms alone. These terms govern use of the website. They do not set a fee, a deposit, a cancellation window, or a refund rule, because the business has not published those rules. Inventing them here would mislead you.

| Requests

Appointment requests

The appointment page and the contact page provide forms. Required fields are a name, an email address, a message, and a tick to confirm you have read the privacy notice. Phone, service topic, preferred date, and preferred time are optional on the appointment form.

Submitting the form checks the fields and opens an email to [email protected]. It does not create a contract for a beauty service. It does not reserve a chair, a room, or a person. A preferred date is a note about timing you have in mind. A fixed weekly timetable is not published, so the site cannot treat that date as available until the studio confirms it.

There is no charge for using the form. Do not enter payment card numbers. The website has no payment form and will not ask you to pay a deposit through the page.

| Confirmation

No automatic booking confirmation

A completed form is not an appointment confirmation. The status text says your email app should open a message to [email protected] and that the inquiry is a request, not a confirmed appointment. That sentence is part of these terms. An appointment exists only when the studio replies and agrees a time.

Words such as "appointment confirmed", "payment successful", and "your booking is guaranteed" are not used, because those events do not occur here. Please do not travel, take time off, or decline another plan because you pressed the button.

You can also request a time by calling +56 9 0318 3771 or by emailing [email protected] directly. Please do not travel to Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile until that reply arrives. These terms do not set a cancellation fee or a deposit, because the website does not take payment and has not published those rules. Any later in-person arrangement will be explained in the studio's reply, and it remains subject to mandatory Chilean consumer law.

| Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

Give accurate contact details if you type them, so that a summary you copy for later is useful. You do not have to complete optional fields. You should not pretend to be someone else or write on behalf of another adult without their agreement.

You are responsible for the device and the network you use. If you share a computer, the on-page summary may be visible to the next person until the page is closed. Clear it before you walk away.

If you attend a beauty appointment that was arranged outside this website, follow the information the studio gives you for that visit. These pages are not that instruction sheet. If the two ever differ, the arrangement you actually made with the studio governs the visit, and this website governs only the pages.

| Accuracy

Service information accuracy

We aim to describe the website's own behaviour accurately: what the menu contains, what the form does, and which business facts are missing. Beauty categories are written at a general level so they do not invent a menu.

Reference photographs can go out of date as files are replaced. Alt text is meant to describe the picture, not to identify a client. If you see a caption that overclaims, treat the plainer nearby sentence as the correction until the page is edited.

The published address, phone, and email are the ones in the footer and on the contact page. Do not rely on an old directory listing or a guessed location if it differs from Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.

| Information

Limitations of general beauty information

Guides discuss how to explore services, what facial care means in ordinary language, how to prepare a question, and how brow, lash, and skincare topics are usually talked about. They are educational in a narrow sense. They are not a personal plan.

Results vary. The site does not promise flawless skin, a permanent change, pain-free care, or a look that matches a photograph. It does not state how long a manicure, a brow shape, or a facial effect lasts, because that would be a fact the business has not published and because it differs.

You should not delay medical care because you were reading a beauty guide. General information is not a reason to ignore a symptom that worries you.

| Health

No medical advice

Nothing on this website is medical advice, dental advice, or a diagnosis. Skin & Soul does not present itself as a dermatology clinic or as a provider of cosmetic surgery. Staff qualifications are not published, so the site does not claim that a dermatologist, nurse, or physician provides the services.

If you have a skin disease, an infection, a reaction, an eye injury, or any condition you think needs a clinician, contact a qualified clinician. Do not use the appointment form as a medical referral, and do not expect a clinical answer from the appointment email. The studio replies about beauty questions, not about diagnosis.

Cosmetic beauty care and medical care are different. A facial description on this site is not a treatment protocol. A skincare note is not a prescription. If a practitioner you meet in person gives you instructions, those instructions are theirs. They are not created by this website.

| Intellectual property

Intellectual property

The words written for Skin & Soul, the arrangement of the pages, and the wordmark are protected by the intellectual property rights that apply to them. You may share links to the pages. You may not copy the site and publish it as your own, and you may not use the name Skin & Soul for another business.

Unsplash photographs remain the work of their creators and are used as references under the Unsplash License. You may not strip the attribution context and present those photographs as client work of Skin & Soul.

If you send a reference idea in a message you later deliver by some other channel, you confirm that you have the right to share it. This website does not ask you to upload files, and the form does not accept attachments.

| Third parties

Third-party links

Links to Unsplash, and automatic requests to Google Fonts, jsDelivr, and Iconify, leave the control of this website or involve another organisation's servers. Those organisations have their own terms. Skin & Soul is not responsible for their content or their outages.

A reference photograph of a salon interior is not a recommendation of that salon, and a picture of makeup tools is not a recommendation of a brand. Brand names were avoided in the images chosen for these pages. If a small label remains visible in a background, it is incidental and not a partnership.

| Availability

Website availability

We would like the pages to be available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Hosting, browsers, and third-party font or script networks can fail. A missing slider does not change the written information.

The site may be updated or withdrawn. A page you saw last month may have been edited. The version you are reading is the current one.

Search on the site looks through a list of these pages in your browser. It does not search the wider web, and it does not reveal hidden records.

| Changes

Changes to content

Service descriptions, guides, and policies can change when the studio's published facts change or when a sentence is unclear. A meaningful change to these terms will show a new date.

Because the form does not create a booking by itself, there is no group of online bookings that would keep an older cancellation rule. No cancellation fee is stated on this website.

If you had a separate agreement with the salon made away from the website, these later edits do not rewrite that agreement. They rewrite the public pages.

| Liability

Reasonable liability terms

The website is provided as general information. To the extent the law allows, Skin & Soul is not liable for decisions you make only from reading the pages, for reliance on a reference photograph, or for an email draft you chose not to send.

We are not liable for a visit you make before the studio has confirmed a time, or for time you set aside because you treated the email draft as a confirmation. The pages say that is not what the button does. The published address is Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for any consumer right that a mandatory law keeps in force. Where a law allows a limit for problems that are only about the website's information, and not about a beauty service actually performed, liability is limited to correcting the information. That sentence does not set a price for a salon service, and it does not cap liability for harm that the law says cannot be capped.

Beauty services that might later be performed in person are not performed by the act of using this website. Any responsibility for an in-person service would arise from that service and from the law that applies to it, not from a button on a static page.

| Updates

Updates

These terms were last updated on 16 October 2026. The date will change if the booking behaviour, the form, or the published business facts change in a way that affects what you are told.

Continuing to read the site after an update means you are reading the new text. It does not create a paid contract. If you do not agree with the description of the form, do not use the form. You can still read the guides.

| Contact

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected], made by calling +56 9 0318 3771, or posted to Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.

The contact and appointment pages use the same details. The privacy policy explains what happens to an email you send. The cookie policy explains the files the browser requests. A company registration number is not printed here, because it has not been published.

These terms govern use of the website. They are not a price list and not a cancellation policy. An in-person service, once you and the studio agree it, remains subject to mandatory Chilean consumer law.

| Business

The business these terms describe

These terms govern your use of the Skin & Soul website. The business they describe is the beauty salon and skincare studio at Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. You can call +56 9 0318 3771 or email [email protected]. A company registration number is not printed here, because it has not been published. Do not infer a different legal name from an advertisement, a directory, or a social profile if it conflicts with this page. Ask the studio to confirm.

The website lets you read about beauty topics, look at reference photographs, and send an inquiry. It does not sell goods. It does not take payment. It does not create a user account. It does not, by itself, form a contract for a facial, a makeup service, nail care, hair styling, or any other beauty service. A contract for a service, if one is made, is made when you and the studio agree it, typically in the reply to your inquiry or at the studio. These terms are not that contract.

Service descriptions are topics you may ask about. They are not a warranty that a service is available on a named day, that a named person will provide it, or that a result will match a photograph. The studio has not published a treatment menu with durations or prices. The absence of a price is intentional. You should not treat a card, a guide, or an advertisement as a price quote. If you need to know how a visit would be charged, ask, and rely on the answer you receive from the studio.

In-person services that you and the studio later agree are subject to the mandatory rules of Chilean consumer protection, including Law No. 19.496 where it applies. Nothing on this website waives a right that the law does not allow a business to waive. These terms do not set a cancellation fee, a no-show fee, or a deposit, because the website does not charge those sums and the business has not published those rules here. If the studio explains a practical arrangement in a reply, that explanation should be read together with your statutory rights, not instead of them.

The place of business for correspondence about the website is the Santiago address above. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. Questions about a visit that has been confirmed should use the same contacts and should refer to the confirmation, so the studio can find the right conversation. A disagreement about an in-person service is not decided by a sentence that only describes the website.

We do not promise that the site will be available without interruption, that a third-party font or script host will respond, or that an email provider will deliver a message instantly. We do promise to describe the form honestly. At the date of these terms, a valid form opens an email to [email protected] and tells you that the result is a request, not a confirmed appointment. If the page ever said you were booked while no reply had been sent, that message would be a mistake and you should not rely on it. Call +56 9 0318 3771 if you are unsure.

Intellectual property in the text and the logo stays with its owners. Reference photographs remain under the Unsplash License and are not client work. You may link to the pages. You may not copy the site and present it as another salon, and you may not use the inquiry form to send unlawful content, to harass, or to include another person's private information without a right to do so.

| Ads

Advertisements and accurate claims

If Skin & Soul advertises, the advertisement should be readable as a pointer to this website, not as a different offer. Permitted impressions are the kind of business, the city, the fact that appointment requests can be sent, and an invitation to read the services. Claims that are not permitted by these terms, because they are not true of the site, include a published price, a discount code, a star rating, a client count, a named award, a guaranteed cosmetic result, a medical outcome, an instant booking, and a statement that a payment has been taken.

You should compare an ad with the landing page before you act. The landing page will show Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile, +56 9 0318 3771, and [email protected], or a clear path to the contact page that shows them. It will describe the form as a request. If the ad said the appointment was already confirmed, the ad was wrong and the website's statement governs your next step: wait for a reply from the studio. Do not travel on the ad alone.

We do not allow the website to be used as a storefront for a different business. Anyone who copies these pages, swaps the contact details, and runs advertisements to the copy is not acting for Skin & Soul. Check the address and the email. The email on the genuine pages is [email protected]. The phone is +56 9 0318 3771. If a page asks you to pay a deposit through a link this site does not contain, stop and contact the studio on the published phone number.

Reference photographs must not be advertised as before-and-after results of this studio. The terms on intellectual property and the gallery captions say they are references. An ad that crops those pictures into a testimonial would misrepresent both the photographers' work and the studio. The site does not publish testimonials. Do not expect an ad to add one that the site has refused.

Liability for the website is limited in the way the liability section already states, and not beyond what Chilean law allows. We are not liable for a decision you take solely from an advertisement that contradicted these pages, once the pages were available to you, or for travel you book before a time is confirmed. We do not exclude liability for fraud or for a mandatory consumer right. Where the law allows a limit that concerns only inaccurate website text, and not a beauty service that was actually performed, the remedy for the text is correction of the text. That sentence is not a price cap on a salon service, and it is not a cap the law forbids.

Changes to these terms will show a new date when the change affects what a visitor is told about bookings, payments, contact details, or claims the studio makes. Older versions are not stored in a client account, because there is no client account. If you had a separate agreement with the studio away from the website, a later edit of these terms does not rewrite that agreement. It rewrites the public pages.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the form. You may still read the site. Using the form and sending the email means you have asked the studio to reply, on the conditions this page and the privacy policy describe. It still does not mean an appointment exists. The appointment exists when the studio says the time is agreed.

| Conduct

Your conduct and the studio's reply

Give contact details that actually reach you. A request sent from an address you do not check is a request the studio cannot complete. Do not impersonate another adult. Do not present a reference photograph as the studio's past work. Do not ask the studio to copy a look that would require it to pretend a medical procedure is a beauty service. The studio may refuse a request that is outside beauty care, that is abusive, or that asks for something the website has already said it does not do, such as an online payment or a diagnosis.

You are responsible for the device you use. The email draft may be visible to anyone who can open your mail app. The on-page summary is visible to anyone who can see your screen until you leave the page. Lock the device if you are in a public place. The studio cannot wipe a shared computer.

The studio's reply should be read carefully. A question is not a yes. A suggested alternative time is an offer you can accept or decline. A statement that a topic is not offered is a final answer about that topic unless the studio later says otherwise. Please do not quote an older guide against a newer reply in order to force a service the studio has declined. The reply is the current position. The guide is general information.

If you believe the website itself is wrong, for example because a sentence still talks as if no address were published, or because a button label does not match what the button does, email [email protected] and name the page. Those reports help the pages stay aligned with the terms. A report is not an appointment request unless you also ask for a visit.

Third-party links, including Unsplash and the hosts that deliver fonts and scripts, are outside these terms once you deal with them. The studio is not responsible for their outages or their content. A link is not an endorsement of a cosmetics brand. Product labels were avoided in the images where a brand would imply a partnership that does not exist.

Nothing in the conduct expected of you removes a right you have under mandatory law. Nothing in the studio's right to refuse an unsuitable request allows a refusal that the law prohibits. The plain aim of these sections is narrower: the website should say what it does, the inquiry should be a genuine beauty question, and a visit should be agreed before anyone treats it as agreed.

Contact for these terms is the same as contact for the studio. Postal mail goes to Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. Email goes to [email protected]. The telephone is +56 9 0318 3771. Please say that you are writing about the website terms if that is the subject, so the message is not read only as a request for a new appointment. We will reply within a reasonable time. We do not charge a fee to read the terms or to send that kind of question.

| Reading

How to read these terms with the rest of the site

These terms are the rules for using the website. The privacy policy is the explanation of personal information. The cookie policy is the explanation of cookies and similar technologies. They are meant to be read together, and they are linked from the footer of every page so you do not have to know the file name in advance. If two sentences seem to disagree, the more specific sentence about what the page actually does is the one to follow, and you should tell us at [email protected] so we can remove the conflict.

The business facts you are entitled to see before you rely on the site are repeated so they are hard to miss. The name is Skin & Soul. The address is Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. The phone is +56 9 0318 3771. The email is [email protected]. A fixed weekly timetable is not published. A price list is not published. A company registration number is not published. Staff names and certificates are not published. Reviews and star ratings are not published. None of those gaps is a hidden offer. They are facts we have refused to invent.

The action the website offers is narrow. You may read. You may search the pages in your browser. You may open a form that prepares an email. You may send that email. You may call. You may write a letter. You may not treat any of those steps as a completed purchase, because nothing is for sale on the page. You may not treat a preferred time as a reservation, because the diary is not connected to the page. You may not treat a reference photograph as a promise, because the caption says it is a reference.

Language on the site is English. The studio is in Chile, and a reply may be in the language you and the studio can both use. If a translation of these terms is ever published, the version that matches the form's actual behaviour is the one that matters, and a translation that reintroduces a fake confirmation or a price would be a mistake. Proper names, including the street Vicuña Mackenna, should be kept intact so you can find the door.

Headings are there to help you scan. They do not change the meaning of the paragraphs. A heading that says liability does not, by itself, exclude a right. The paragraph under it, and the mandatory law behind it, do the work. We have tried to keep sentences direct so a person who is not a lawyer can see that a request is not a booking. If a sentence fails that test, the examples on the appointment page are the plain version: send the email, wait for a reply, travel when the time is agreed.

You do not pay to accept these terms, and you do not receive a paid feature by accepting them. There is no premium account. Continued reading is free. Sending an inquiry is free on this website. Any charge for a beauty service is outside the website and must be explained by the studio before you treat it as agreed. Silence on this page is not a quote of zero, and it is not a quote of any other number.

If you are a reviewer, an advertising partner, or a person comparing the site with an ad, use the same reading order a customer uses. Start with the address and the contact paths. Then read what the form does. Then read what the form does not do. Then read the policies. A site that can survive that order is the site these terms describe. A claim that only appears in an ad, and not in that order, is not a term of this website.

| Pictures

Photographs, text, and the studio name

The words on these pages were written for Skin & Soul. You may quote a short passage in order to ask us a question or to point someone at the contact details. You may not copy whole pages onto another domain, replace the phone number, and advertise the result as if it were this studio. That use would confuse customers about who they were writing to, which is exactly the confusion these terms exist to prevent.

The logo is the studio's mark for this website and for the browser tab. You may not place it on another business. You may not redraw it into a seal that suggests a government approval, a medical qualification, or an advertising-platform endorsement. The mark identifies the salon. It does not certify the salon. We say that because logos are sometimes cropped into badges they were never meant to be.

Photographs in the gallery and elsewhere are reference images used under the Unsplash License, except for the logo. They are not photographs of our rooms, our staff, or our clients. You may not remove that context and run them as proof of a result. You may not submit them to an advertising system as before-and-after evidence of Skin & Soul. If you took your own photograph and you have the right to share it with us, you may describe it in an email and attach it only after the draft opens, and only if you are willing for that image to sit in the inquiry mailbox for the purpose of understanding your question.

We do not ask you to assign ownership of your own photograph to the studio by using the form. Sending a picture so we can understand a makeup or hair question is not permission to publish it on this website. We will not put customer images on the site unless a separate, clear agreement says so, and no such gallery of clients is published today. If you see one claimed elsewhere, it is not this website's gallery.

Feedback you send about a typo or a confusing sentence is welcome. We may use the idea to edit the page. We do not pay for that suggestion, and we do not promise to adopt it. A suggestion is not a complaint about personal data unless you say it is. Label privacy requests as privacy requests so they are not lost in a note about wording.

The name Skin & Soul, the address, and the phone number are how customers recognise the business. Using a close name, the same address, or the same number to collect inquiries for someone else is not allowed by these terms and may also be unlawful. If you see that happening, email [email protected] or call +56 9 0318 3771. We would rather hear about a confusing copy than discover it from a customer who paid the wrong person. This website never asks you to pay the wrong person, because it never asks you to pay online at all.

Nothing in this section stops you from sharing a link. A link to the contact page is the safest way to introduce someone to the studio, because the link shows the current address and the current description of the form. A screenshot goes stale. The page, as updated, is the reference.

| Law

Chilean consumer rules and website disputes

The studio's published place of business is Santiago, Chile. Questions about the website can be sent there by post or raised by email and phone. Where a beauty service is later agreed and performed, Chilean consumer protection rules, including Law No. 19.496 where it applies, protect the customer to the extent the statute says. These terms do not shorten a warranty the statute forbids shortening. They do not invent a warranty the studio has not given, such as a guarantee of a particular cosmetic result.

Disputes about the website, for example a claim that a sentence misled you about whether the form sends email, should be raised with us first at [email protected] so we can correct the page and explain what happened. Many of those disputes end when the person sees that the email was never sent, or that a reply was in a spam folder. If a dispute remains, mandatory law decides the forum and the remedy. We do not impose a private arbitration clause that would block a right the law keeps open to you. We also do not select a foreign court on this page in order to make a Santiago customer travel.

Disputes about an in-person service are about that service. Bring them to the studio with the date of the visit and the contact details you used, so the right conversation can be found. The website's limit of liability for general information does not apply to harm the law says cannot be limited, and it does not rewrite a duty that arose because a service was actually carried out. Equally, a paragraph about in-person care does not turn the website into the service. Reading about a facial is not receiving a facial.

We are not liable for the content of Unsplash, Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Iconify, your email provider, or an advertising platform. We are responsible for the words we publish and for the inquiries we actually receive. If a third party is offline and a slider fails, the text of the terms still stands. If your email provider blocks a message, call +56 9 0318 3771. The failure of a network is not a confirmation and not a refusal until a person says which it is.

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to break the host, no scraping that disrupts it, no uploads of malware through a channel we did not even open for uploads, and no use of the forms to threaten anyone. We may ignore a message that is unlawful or that has nothing to do with a beauty question or a privacy request. Ignoring it is not a confirmation of any offer inside it.

If a court or a competent authority finds one sentence too broad, that sentence is reduced to what the law allows, and the other sentences continue. In particular, any limitation of liability is void to the extent a mandatory rule of Chilean law says it is void. We would rather state that openly than hide a waiver in a capitalised block.

The terms were last updated on 16 October 2026, together with the contact details of the studio. A later update will change that date when the change is one a visitor should notice: contact details, the behaviour of the form, prices if they are ever published, or the claims the studio is willing to make. Until then, the appointment page and these terms say the same thing. A request is a request. A visit is agreed only when the studio confirms it. Nothing on the site takes a payment.
