This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies connected with the Skin & Soul website. It was last updated on 16 October 2026. Read it with the Privacy Policy. It describes the tools the pages actually load. It does not add analytics or advertising tags in order to look complete.
Skin & Soul is at Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile. Questions about this cookie policy can be sent to [email protected] or made by calling +56 9 0318 3771. The rest of this page stays specific about the files and scripts the pages actually load.
Cookies are small text files a website can ask your browser to store. They might remember a login on other sites, keep a cart, or help measure visits. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels.
A request for a font or a script is not itself a cookie. The provider that delivers the file may log the request, including an IP address, under its own policy. This page separates those file requests from cookies the Skin & Soul script deliberately sets.
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking a font or a script can change how a page looks or whether a slider runs. It does not change the sentences on the page.
The site's own JavaScript does not set a cookie. There is no cookie named for a session, a login, a shopping cart, a language, or a consent choice. The appointment form does not save a draft in local storage. If you need the text, copy it before you leave the page. The page then asks your email app to open a message to the studio. The form script still does not save that text in a cookie.
We have not installed a consent-management platform, a tag manager, or a server that issues a first-party identifier. If your browser shows a cookie while you view these pages, it is not one this project's script created. It may come from a browser extension, from a network you are on, or from a provider you contacted by following an external link.
Gallery filters, the search box, accordions, and sliders keep their state in the page's memory. Reloading clears the filter back to "All". That behaviour is intentional and is not stored for your next visit.
Essential cookies, where a site uses them, are the ones needed for a feature you asked for, such as keeping a signed-in session or remembering a privacy choice that the law requires the site to store. This website does not need a cookie to show its pages. Navigation works with ordinary links. The mobile menu is part of the page script, not a cookie.
Because no essential cookie is set, there is nothing to list in a table of names, durations, and purposes. Publishing a fictional cookie name would make the policy less accurate.
If a host or a security tool in front of the site later sets a cookie that is strictly necessary to deliver the pages, this policy should be updated to name it. No such cookie is configured in the project files.
Functional cookies sometimes remember a preference, such as a region or a dismissed banner. This site does not offer that kind of preference and does not store one.
The form summary is functional in a narrow sense: it helps you see what you typed. It is written into the page as text, not into a cookie. Closing the tab ends it.
We do not use functional storage to personalise prices, because the site does not show prices.
No analytics cookie is configured in the website files. There is no Google Analytics tag, no Google Tag Manager container, no Meta pixel, and no similar measurement snippet.
No advertising cookie or remarketing tag is installed by these pages. Form fields are not passed to an advertising platform. Reference photographs are not advertisements for another salon.
If you reached this website by clicking an advertisement, the advertising platform may have used its own cookies on its own pages before you arrived. Those cookies are controlled by that platform. This website does not read them and does not set a matching tag of its own. If that ever changes, this policy will name the tool before it is used, and a real choice will be offered where the law requires a choice before non-essential tracking.
Google Fonts are requested from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com so the pages can use Cormorant Garamond for headings and Nunito Sans for body text. That is a request for font files. Google's own privacy information describes how it handles those requests. The project does not send your form message with the font request.
The Swiper stylesheet and script are requested from cdn.jsdelivr.net so the approach slider and the gallery slider can run. jsDelivr may process an IP address and basic request data to deliver the file and to protect the service.
The accordion arrow is loaded from api.iconify.design. That request is for an icon file. It is not a tracker installed to follow you across other websites.
Unsplash is contacted only if you choose a source link or the licence link in the footer. Photographs already saved in this project are files on this website, so viewing the gallery does not require a call to Unsplash.
We do not control third-party policies. We use these requests to display the site, not to advertise to you and not to combine them with an appointment note.
You can delete cookies, block third-party cookies, and use a private window in your browser settings. Those controls sit in the browser, not in a dashboard on this site. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge explain the steps in their own help pages.
There is no on-site cookie settings panel, because there is no non-essential cookie for a panel to switch off. Adding a panel that only pretended to save a choice would be a false control. We do not do that.
If you block JavaScript, sliders, parts of the mobile menu, the image viewer, and the form check will stop. You can still read every page. You will not be able to run the in-browser field check, which is another reason not to assume a message has been sent.
Some privacy laws require consent before non-essential cookies, especially cookies used for analytics or advertising. This website does not set those cookies, so it does not ask for that consent and does not store a consent record.
The checkbox on the contact and appointment forms is not a cookie consent. It confirms that you have read the privacy notice and agree that Skin & Soul may use the details to reply. The form then opens an email to [email protected]. You can read the whole site without ticking it. The tick is required only if you want to send the form.
If analytics or advertising tags are added later, they should stay off until a visitor has a real way to refuse them, where the law requires that order. A banner will be added only when its buttons change what the page actually loads.
Blocking Google Fonts usually makes the browser use another typeface. The words stay the same. Blocking jsDelivr can stop the slider layout. The service descriptions and the policies remain on the page.
Blocking Iconify can remove the small accordion arrow. The questions and answers still open with the accordion button.
Private browsing is a reasonable way to read the site if you do not want the visit mixed with other stored data in your main profile. It does not change the fact that a font request may still leave your network.
This policy was last updated on 16 October 2026. We will update it if the site begins to set cookies or to load a new third-party tool such as an analytics or advertising tag. The date at the top will change with that edit.
A change to a provider's own policy does not by itself change what we intend to do. It can change what the provider does with a request for a font or a script. Check this page if you want to see which external files the site loads.
Questions about cookies can be sent to [email protected], made by calling +56 9 0318 3771, or posted to Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.
For the Unsplash photographs, the licence link in the footer is the external reference for how those images may be used. For the form's handling of personal details, use the Privacy Policy rather than this cookie page.
This policy is meant to be checked against the pages, not against a template that assumes every business runs analytics. Skin & Soul's own JavaScript does not set a cookie. It does not write the appointment form into local storage. It does not store a consent choice, because there is no cookie banner and no non-essential cookie of ours to accept or reject. Adding a banner that pretended to control a tracker we do not install would be less honest than this explanation.
You can read every page, including the services, the gallery, the guides, and the policies, without logging in and without accepting a cookie from us. Gallery filters and the search box keep their state in memory until you reload. Reloading clears them. That is not a cookie, and it is not reported to the studio. We do not see which filter you clicked.
Your browser will request files from this website's host and, for the design, from Google Fonts, from jsDelivr for the Swiper slider, and from Iconify for an accordion icon. Those providers may process an IP address and basic request data to deliver the file and to protect their services. Their own privacy notices describe that processing. We do not attach your inquiry text to those file requests. The inquiry text leaves your machine only if you send the email to [email protected] or contact us by phone or post.
We have not installed Google Analytics, a tag manager, a Meta pixel, a TikTok pixel, or a Google Ads remarketing tag in these pages. We do not use cookies to build an advertising audience. If Skin & Soul advertises, the measurement of a click may occur on the advertising platform's side, under that platform's policies, when you interact with the ad. That is not a cookie set by this website's script. If we later add a measurement tag on the site itself, we will update this policy first and we will ask for consent where the law requires it before non-essential cookies are stored.
Essential cookies are the ones a site needs for a feature you asked for, such as staying signed in. This site has no sign-in, so it has no essential cookie to list. Publishing a fictional cookie name, duration, and purpose would make the policy look complete and be false. If a host or a security tool in front of the site later sets a cookie that is strictly necessary to deliver the pages, this policy will be updated to name it. No such cookie is configured in the project files today.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can use a private window. Blocking third-party cookies may affect how fonts or scripts load on many sites, including this one. The sentences on the page remain available even if a slider does not run. Blocking cookies does not stop you from emailing the studio, and it does not create an appointment.
Questions about this policy go to the studio that operates the site: Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile, telephone +56 9 0318 3771, email [email protected]. Please use the subject cookies if you are writing about this page rather than about a visit. The privacy policy explains inquiry emails in more detail. The two documents are written to agree with each other. Where a sentence here is specific about a file the browser loads, that sentence is the one to rely on for cookies.
Because we do not set a non-essential cookie, we do not present Accept and Reject buttons. A button that did nothing, or that set a cookie solely to remember a choice about cookies we do not use, would be theatre. Your real choices are the controls in your browser, the decision to send or not send an email, and the decision to follow or not follow an external link such as an Unsplash source page.
External links are optional. The footer link to the Unsplash License, and any source link under a gallery image, takes you to Unsplash. From that moment their site governs cookies and privacy. We do not control those cookies and we do not receive a report of what you do there. Staying on Skin & Soul's pages does not require that click. The photographs already saved in this project are files on this website.
Email is not a cookie. When the appointment form opens your mail app, that hand-off is a mailto link. It does not drop a tracking identifier into the message. Your mail provider may add its own technical headers so the message can be delivered. That is the provider's processing. We receive the message you send, at [email protected], and we use it as the privacy policy describes: to reply, and to discuss a visit if you asked for one.
Advertising cookies are a common reason a site is asked for a cookie policy. We state the position in one place so it can be checked. This website does not drop advertising cookies. It does not sync your form submission to an ad account. It does not sell data. An advertisement that points here should not tell you that accepting cookies on this site is required to request an appointment. It is not. You can call +56 9 0318 3771 with cookies blocked and still reach the studio.
We will update this policy if we start using analytics, embedded video that sets cookies, a chat widget, a booking platform, or an advertising tag. The update will name the tool in ordinary language, say what it stores, and say how long the provider keeps it if we know that period. We will not add the tool silently and leave this page describing an older site. The date at the top of the policy will change with that edit.
If you are reviewing the site for an advertising programme, the facts to verify are these. The business is identified. The contact paths work by phone and email and match the footer. The cookie policy matches the scripts. The privacy policy matches the form. The pages do not show a fake booking confirmation or a price. None of those facts is a promise that the programme will approve the site. Approval is the programme's decision. Accuracy is ours.
You may print or save this policy for your records. The current version is the one published on this page. We do not email a notice of cookie changes, because we do not keep a mailing list for that purpose. If you return after a long time and you intend to send personal information, read the date and the description of the form again. Contact [email protected] if the page does not match what the form actually does. A mismatch is a defect we want to hear about.
It helps to separate three paths your browser can take, because cookie policies often blend them. The first path is this website. Its own script does not set a cookie and does not save your form. The second path is a file request for a font, a slider, or an icon, sent to Google, jsDelivr, or Iconify so the page can look and move as designed. The third path is an email you send yourself to [email protected]. Only the third path carries your name and your question, and it is not a cookie.
On the second path, the provider sees a request for a file. That request can include an IP address, the time, and the fact that a Skin & Soul page asked for the file. The provider uses that information to deliver the file and to protect the service against abuse. We do not receive a report that lists those requests next to your appointment message, because the appointment message is not on that path. If you block the provider, the page may fall back to a plainer appearance. The contact details in the footer do not depend on the font.
We do not add parameters to those file requests that contain your form fields. You can see the form's behaviour in the page script: after a valid check, it opens a mailto link. A mailto link is handled by your device as email. It is not a request to an analytics server. It does not include a tracking pixel. If a mail program adds a read receipt, that setting is in your mail program, not in our page, and you can turn it off there.
Advertising platforms are a fourth path that starts only if you click an ad before you arrive, or if you later interact with an ad elsewhere. This website does not continue that path with its own tag. We do not read an advertising click identifier in order to store it in a cookie. We do not match it to the email you type. If a platform tells you an ad led to a visit, that statistic is the platform's, under the platform's policy, and it is not a customer record we have agreed to build.
Unsplash is involved only when you choose a source link or the licence link. Those links are ordinary web links. They are not loaded for every visitor who merely looks at a photograph already stored on this site. If you do not want a third-party cookie from Unsplash, do not follow the link. You can still understand the gallery from the captions, which say the pictures are references and not our clients.
Server logs on the host are not cookies, but people ask about them in the same breath. A log can show that a page was requested. It does not show the message you decided not to send. We do not use logs to build a profile, and we do not sell them. The host's period for keeping logs is not stated here because we will not guess a number and call it a policy. You can ask us what we actually control, which is the inquiry mailbox, and we will answer under the privacy policy.
If you want the shortest true version for a checklist: no first-party analytics cookie, no advertising cookie set by this site, no cookie banner, no local storage of the form, technical file requests to fonts and scripts, and a separate email path that you control by pressing send. Questions go to [email protected], +56 9 0318 3771, or Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.
Browser controls are enough for the cookies this project does not set, and they are the right place for cookies other software might set. You can block third-party cookies, clear cookies when you close the browser, and use a private window for a session you do not want remembered on the device. None of those steps deletes an email you have already sent. To deal with a sent email, use the privacy request path. To deal with a draft, close it without sending.
Blocking JavaScript will stop the form's check, the mobile menu's extra behaviour, the slider, and the image viewer. The telephone number and the email address remain visible in the header and footer as ordinary links. You can still call +56 9 0318 3771 and write to [email protected]. We do not require a script in order to deserve a reply. The script is a convenience that opens the mail app with the fields filled in. A blank email you compose yourself is just as valid.
Extensions that claim to accept cookies for you, or to refuse them, do not change the fact that our script has no cookie to accept. If an extension tells you it blocked a tracker on this site, it may be blocking a font or a script request, or it may be blocking something the extension misread. You can reload with the extension off if the page looks broken. The words, including this policy, should still be there.
Do not install a tool because a pop-up that is not part of this site told you the salon required it. We do not show a pop-up that asks for remote access, a download, or a payment. Our pages use the browser you already have. If a layer appears that we did not describe here, treat it as untrusted, especially if it mentions a prize, a virus, or a deposit. Leave the page and come back through the address you trust, then call us if you are unsure.
We will revisit this section if the site starts to store anything on your device. The update will name the item, the purpose, and the choice you have. Until that day, the choice you have is the browser's own controls plus the decision to contact the studio or not. That is a complete description, and a complete description is what an advertising review as well as a customer should be able to find without guessing.
The studio's identity does not change when you change cookie settings. Skin & Soul remains at Av. Vicuña Mackenna 269, 8320000 Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile, on +56 9 0318 3771 and at [email protected]. Policies remain linked in the footer. A request remains a request until we confirm a time. Those sentences are the ones to keep if you remember nothing else about cookies, because they are the sentences the rest of the site is built to support.
